Nights of the Pufflings

The true story of an event on a small island off the coast of Iceland. Every year puffins land on the island to nest, lay eggs, and raise their pufflings. In August, when the pufflings take their first flight all the children stay up to watch them take off. During the night the children also rescue any stranded pufflings and set them free on the beach the next morning.

This book follows the adventures of a young girl and her friends as they take part in this island tradition.
