This celebratory tome recalls how

artists and writers have long found inspiration in scenic East Hampton,

and illuminates their presence there, from the Barbizon painters of the 19th century, through the tenure of Jackson Pollock and his circle of painters and writers including Frank O`Hara, and into the 1970s when Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein were in residence.
